How to make your first website in 3 easy steps.

This beginner guide will show you how to make your very first website in 2018 in 3 very easy steps. Gone are the days where it was necessary to have a strong command over coding to have your content over the Internet. Having your business, personal blog or your profile over the Internet can help you gain popularity much faster among the people you want to share with. Whether its a small business or a multi national company, not having it on the Internet could mean you're not earning as much as you could. Internet could boost up your profile by a great deal that you cannot imagine. But being honest with you, it takes patience and a lot of hard work to start from scratch. This guide will help you understand the fundamentals of entering the world of website hosting.

Step 1: Choose your identity.

Instagram, facebook, snapchat, mashable etc etc have their own domain over the internet. Your domain is like your identity over the world by which they can locate you. So your domain name should be eye catching. Use simple yet unique word or words that could allow your audiences to easily remember them so that they could come back again. You need to develop trust over the long term and choosing the right domain name could clearly do the job.

Step 2: Buy your domain and hosting

The domain that you choose will be your name on the Internet and hosting will make it available over it. Now I would strongly recommend blue host as it collaborates with WordPress and will provide you with free domain, free SSL Certificate and 24/7 support from 3.95 $/month. It's a great deal for starters in my opinion. Just pay roughly 4$ per month and have your word spread to the world.

Step 3: install word press and finalize your site.

Once you've got your domain and hosting, Install WordPress and remember your credentials. I strongly recommend WordPress because:
  • It's free
  • It's fast
  • It hosts around 30 % of the world sites.
  • Beginner friendly
  • 24/7 live support
Now once you have installed WordPress, enter your credentials and you will be taken to the WordPress dashboard. Now the dashboard looks like this:
This is where you can customize your blog, add different themes and make it the way you like it to be. There's also premium versions of WordPress which offers you lots of premium features like plug ins, additional themes, more control and customization if you want to start earning from your site. There are plenty of videos over the Internet that teaches you how to customize your site as a beginner. I will be soon posting a new guide about how to customize your site, add new themes and navigation bar as well as other features that will make your site heavenly.
